- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tbsp olive oil
How long to cook shrimp in an air fryer?
Wondering how long to air fryer shrimp? It is very important to know that so you don’t overcook or undercook your shrimp. So, here goes.
Air fryer shrimp that has been thawed should be cooked between 6 – 8 minutes at a temperature of 400°F.
Air fryer frozen shrimp should be cooked for 10 -12 minutes at a temperature of 400°F
How to make air fryer shrimp
Gather all the ingredients in one place.
Then measure out the spices and herbs and mix them into a dry mixture or grab some of my DIY chipotle seasoning if you prefer. Also, Devine and peel the shrimp if you did not purchase them so.
Place the shrimp, the olive oil, and the dry rub mixture into a ziplock bag and mix well until all the shrimp is properly coated.
Then spray the air fryer with some cooking spray and place the shrimp into the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Shrimp cooks easily so there is no need to cook the shrimp on both sides.
Serve as is with some lemon slices or with a side of your choice.
