Is fresh spinach better than frozen spinach for spinach dip recipe?

Both frozen spinach and fresh spinach work well for this recipe, although frozen spinach is naturally easier to use when cooking.

However, I used fresh spinach leaves because I believe they make my spinach recipes taste a whole lot better. With fresh spinach leaves, only 1 extra simple step need to be taken. That of removing the stems from the leaves so I always just try to opt for fresh leaves.

If you’d prefer to use frozen spinach for this low carb spinach dip recipe, 1 cup of frozen spinach is all you’ll need to properly substitute for the 11 ounces of fresh spinach leaves used for the recipe.

Storing low carb spinach dip

You can store this spinach dip in the fridge for up to 5 days. Store in an air tight container to help keep the recipe fresh. To reheat, scoop out some of the dip and place it into the microwave until hot. Serve and enjoy!
