Tips to Make Keto Pancakes with 3 Ingredients

  • Cook these 3 ingredient pancakes over medium heat. This will ensure they lift and become fluffy. If you cook them at high heat they will also rise, but after cooling they may become very flat.
  • Once cooked do not stack them, but place them on a wire rack and place them in a heated oven to keep warm while you cook the others. If you stack them they may become flat, especially if you’re not using any baking powder.
  • If you’re using baking powder, make sure your baking powder is fresh and not expired—old baking powder can keep your keto pancakes from getting light and fluffy!

How to Make 3 Ingredient Keto Pancakes with Almond Flour

To start, first, gather all of your ingredients in one place. You only need 4 basic ingredients to make these pancakes, but, it’s very important to measure everthing out for the best results.

If you’re in the market for good measuring tools, I highly recommend getting these accurate measuring cups and spoons or this handy kitchen scale. I use both of these in my kitchen daily.

Then in a bowl, whisk eggs until bubbles form. This will ensure that you have fluffy 3 ingredient low carb pancakes without baking powder. If you are in a rush and do not have time to whisk, you can use some baking powder.

Add in the cream cheese and whisk. 

Then fold in the fine almond flour (and baking powder if using) and stir to combine.

Heat a large non-stick pancake pan over medium heat. I use and recommend the Nonstick Fry Pan From T-fal for all my pancakes. My pancakes never stick or get brunt with this pan!

Use 2 tbsp of batter per pancake and cook the pancakes for 1 -2 minutes per side.

  1. Great recipe! Made it the last two mornings. But I subbed unsweetened coconut milk yogurt for the cream cheese and they came out perfect. Today I crumbled some freeze dried raspberries into the batter with some chocolate-raspberry stevia drops; then, once in pan, pressed a few Lily’s chocolate chips into the uncooked side of pancakes before flipping. Delicious! I used Nature’s Hollow sugar-free maple syrup, my favorite sugar-free syrup (4.5 g carbs per Tbs…keto friendly?). I bookmarked this recipe and will make regularly. Thank you!
