Easy keto protein bars recipe
If you’ve been looking for a good homemade low carb protein bar recipe, that is easy to make, here’s what you need to do:
Gather all of your ingredients for this recipe in one place and let us begin.
**Make sure you start with peanut butter that is at room temperature.
In a mixing bowl, place the peanut and the sweetener. Then mix very well with a spoon until all the sweetener has disappeared. This may take a few minutes.
Gradually incorporate Keto protein powder into this mixture. Vanilla keto protein powder was used in this recipe, but you can use Chocolate if you prefer.
Continue mixing with the spoon until you get a paste-like consistency that easily peels off the edges of the bowl. It should look like the mixture below once done.
If you wish, at this point you can sprinkle with cinnamon powder and nutmeg. In that case, stir for a few more minutes until all the ingredients are very well integrated.
Next, you will place this mixture in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to be able to mold the bars.
When you can mold with your hands, spread the dough on a flat surface (it can be a silicone or papal waxed blanket).
Then cut into rectangles to mimic the shape of bars.
Make sure you put the bars in the freezer for a few more minutes while melting the chocolate.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave for about ten seconds. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir with a spoon; Repeat this procedure until all the chocolate is fluid.
Place the melted chocolate on a shallow plate and dip each low carb protein bar into the melted chocolate on both sides. Ensure that you cover both sides completely.
Repeat this process until all of your low-carb bars are covered in chocolate.
Next, place the keto protein bars on the waxed paper or silicone blanket and keep them there for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes have passed, remove the bars from the waxed paper and store them in the refrigerator in a covered container for at least 2 hours. Although you will get the best results if left overnight.
