  • 0.5lb. ground beef
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ cup ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • 1 large egg
  • 14oz. fire roasted chopped tomatoes or marinara sauce, no sugar added
  • 4 oz. sliced mozzarella
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

 

How to make Noodle-less keto lasagna in an instant pot

First gather all your ingredients in one place

To start, set the Instant Pot to Saute.

 

Then add the beef and cook until browned. Stir in garlic and onion powder, season to taste with salt and pepper, and cook for 30 seconds.

 

Transfer the beef in a bowl and combine with tomatoes. Make sure to reserve some of the tomatoes for the top of the lasagna.

 

In a separate bowl combine ricotta, parmesan, and egg and stir until smooth.

 

Next, place 1/3 of the beef mixture into the spring-form, that fits into your Instant pot.

 

Top with 1/3 of the ricotta and a few slices of mozzarella.

 

Repeat the layers making sure the mozzarella is the last layer. Spoon over the reserved tomatoes. Wrap the bottom of the spring-form with aluminum foil.

Next, fill the instant pot with 1 cup of water.

Then, insert the trivet into the Instant pot and go ahead an place the spring-form onto the trivet and lock lid in place.

Select Manual and adjust to high pressure. Making sure to set the timer to 9 minutes.

Once the cooking cycle is done, perform a quick pressure release.
