This burger recipe is very easy to make, and we’re using homemade patties in this recipe. Therefore, you’ll need a few extra ingredients to make these. You’ll need:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of almond meal
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- cooking oil
- 8 thin sliced cheddar cheese
- lettuce
- 8 cherry tomatoes for garnishing

Making your hamburger patty
It is very important that we make these burgers as juicy and flavorful as possible. Nobody likes bland hamburger patties.
In order to ensure these hamburger patties are yummy, you’ll need a few key seasoning ingredients to add flavor to your ground beef like (list them)
For this homemade hamburger patty recipe we also used some almond meal to ensure that the patties were of a good consistency and did not break apart.
Now, you’re truly ready to make your very own bread-less burger!
In a large bowl add in ground beef, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion and Dijon mustard.
Next, add in an egg, shredded cheese, salt and black pepper, paprika and chili flakes and mix.
Add in almond meal and stir until combined and fully incorporated.
When fully incorporated the mixture should look like this. Pay attention no to over mix since that can make your patties tough.
Now, you’ll need to use your hands to form small burgers that look like the ones below. Use wet hands for this step and make 7 patties.
Next, fry these on preheated pan with cooking oil. Making sure to cook one side first for 3-5 minutes.
Then turn each patty over and place a slice of cheddar cheese on the cooked side of each. Cook each side for 3-5 minutes.
After your burgers are all cooked, you will then wrap the cooked burgers in lettuce and serve them on serving platter. You can also garnish with chopped parsley (optional) one onion ring and a few slices of tomatoes for a delicious keto lettuce wrap burger.
