Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw almonds (preferably soaked overnight)
- 3 ½ cups filtered water

- Soak the almonds: Place almonds in a bowl, cover with water, then let these soak overnight (about 8–12 hours).
- Blend: The next day, drain and rinse the soaked almonds. Next add soaked almonds and the 3 1/2 cups of filtered water to a high speed blender and blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Strain: Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or a clean kitchen towel into a bowl or large jar and squeeze well to extract all the liquid.
- Flavor (Optional): Add the maple syrup and or vanilla extract (if using).
- Store: Lastly, pour your DIY almond mil into a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate for up to 4–5 days. Shake well before using.
