This may sound so cliche but it actually works and is one of the easiest ways to stay on track with the keto diet.

Keto can get boring. Seeing all the other foods that you cannot eat…that you already know from experience tastes super delicious makes it that much harder to stick to keto. Especially if you’re in a slump or can’t seem to find something good to make at any given moment.

Drink water all day long

This is an overplayed piece of advice but it works. Drinking water throughout the day is a great way to keep yourself on track. The increased intake of water helps to keep you feeling fuller and more satisfied throughout the day. Also, research shows that drinking more water helps to elevate the mood.
I personally think that when you’re in a good mood, you tend to feel good and make better food choices throughout the day.
Exercise regularly
Whether its walking, gyming, or a quick 20-minute youtube workout
This may not apply to everyone, but it does certainly work for many people. Making the sacrifice to exercise can compel you to stick to eating properly throughout the day. I recommend exercising as early as possible for about 20-30 minutes.
Familiarise yourself with all the keto substitutions
Knowing the foods that you can use to substitute your favorite non-keto foods is a great way to keep yourself on track and in ketosis. If you’re a keto beginner, this is super duper important for success.

Cook keto meals your family can enjoy with you
Very few people enjoy cooking every day. There’s just so much to do and never enough time so limiting time in the kitchen is a top priority. Therefore, reducing the number of meals you have to cook each day can help make your keto journey easier…in a significant way.
This is why I recommend making foods that everyone can eat at each meal.
For example, cook a protein, a side of veggies, and an extra portion of rice for your family. Stay away from the rice of course, but enjoy the veggies and protein. This makes it so that you only have to make one meal which significantly reduces the burnout that can quickly begin to creep in if you’re making 6 different meals instead of 3 every day on top of all the other responsibilities that you already have!
Listen to words of affirmation.
When I’m trying to lose weight, grow my business, or find more happiness in my life, words of affirmation always seem to help me stay focused. If you already do all those things that I listed above, but you’re finding yourself less and less motivated to stick to keto eating as time goes on, listen to some words of affirmation videos on youtube.
I really enjoy this particular I AM” Affirmations For Success, Money, Health and Happiness. I try to listen to it at least twice a week if not more. it helps put my mind in the right place and I find that my outlook on most things shifts to a more positive outlook whenever I listen to these words of affirmation videos.
