If your 2026 goal is to get better skin from the inside out, these smoothies are an easy place to start. I make smoothies all the time. But, until recently, I’ve never really thought to make smoothies specifially for the skin. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I started doing this beause I’ve started tto notice that my skin just isn’t as supple as it once was. Now, I’m doing everything I can to make my skin amazing this year (including better skincare routines) and this is one of the ways I’m doing so.

These smoothies not only taste great, but thet’re also packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, healthy fats, and hydration. Basically, all the things that can support your skin’s natural barrier and collagen production when you enjoy them regularly as part of a balanced diet.

Of course, I know that no smoothie can replace sunscreen, proper sleep, or a dermatologist. But sipping a few of these a few times a week has become a really simple way to feed my skin with more of the nutrients it needs.

What Makes a Smoothie “Skincare-Friendly”?

When you’re thinking of making a skincare smoothie, you need to mainly focus on the nutrients more than anything else. For my skincare smoothies, I’ve done some research and started using more:

  • Vitamin C–rich fruits like citrus, kiwi, berries, and mango help your body make and protect collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm and bouncy.(Linus Pauling Institute)
  • Antioxidant rich foods like berries, leafy greens, cocoa, and matcha that help to give a boost to dull-looking skin over time.(Nature)

  • Healthy fats & omega-3s like avocado, chia seeds, flaxseeds or flaxseed meal, and walnuts. According to (Biocyte) these helps to support the skin’s barrier, helping it hold onto moisture and feel less dry or tight.

  • Hydration boosters like cucumber, watermelon, coconut water, and some juicy fruits help keep you hydrated overall, which also shows up in how your skin feels.(PMC). So add more of these to your smoothies or diet and drink more water too!

Use that little checklist as you read through the smoothies below and tweak them based on what you have in your pantry.

Note: If you have a skin condition or are considering supplements (like collagen or high-dose vitamin C), it’s always a good idea to check with a healthcare professional first.

How to Use These Skincare Smoothies in 2026

You don’t need to make all 13 to see some benefit in your routine. Coupled with good skin care and a better diet overall, here are a few simple ideas that can help you:

  • Pick 2–3 favorites and rotate them during the week. Keep the ingredients stocked
  • Enjoy your smoothie of choice with a balanced meal or as a snack, not as your only source of nutrition.
  • You can double the recipe and keep half in the fridge for up to 24 hours if your schedule is very busy.
  • If you’re using collagen or protein powder, keep the amount within the package’s suggested serving and talk to a healthcare professional if you’re unsure what’s right for you.
